Good demand for our Beltex Shearling Rams at Welshpool yesterday with all rams sold to an average of £883. Top priced was this years show ram, Rattrays Wally selling at £1,050 to Owens, Sandilands.whilst another two topped the £1000 with Rattrays Wesley joining the Constant flock of Hughes & Butterfield. The two full brothers Winston Chiurchill and Watson, out of Rattrays Mr Urdd and an old ewe that has bred well in the flock, Pulston Lauretta, went to two commercial buyers, one for £1020 whilst the other was £980.
