Rattrays Tyson (RAT T037) awarded the Supreme Championship at the Welsh Beltex Club Sale at Welshpool, by judge Mr John Hall of Carlisle. Tyson, a March 2013 born shearling ram, stood 2nd in the ram lamb class at last year’s Royal Welsh Show and was out of our own homebred Ram, Rattrays Mr Urdd (who was Male Champion at the 2010 Royal Welsh Show) and a Belgian imported ewe BE1053.0338. He later sold for £1,450 to Mr R B Eyre of Hope Valley, Derbyshire to join his Abney flock of pedigree beltex sheep.
