Members visited the farm on Bank Holiday Monday to see Rattrays Beltex, winners of the Welsh beltex Club Large Flock Competition 2013 & 2014 in their working clothes. Members were briefed by Rob on the breeding lines of all stock and given an opportunity to see all stock in the flock, Rob also demonstrated his butchery skills and explained to members the various method he uses to butcher and market prime lambs for the shop. All members then enjoyed some refreshments and barbeque which was followed by a club business meeting.
