Rattrays Beltex rams were in demand at the Welsh Beltex Club sale at Welshpool on Monday with Rattrays Dynamite, selling for £1,300 to Robert Coney of Pembrokeshire who has used Rattray sires in the past to produce championship carcasses at the Royal Welsh Winter Fairs. The whole pen sold well, averaging at £860 with another returning buyer, D G & E M Clarke of Carno taking Rattrays Defender at £1,100.
